Some 18 years ago, the world was informed that United States was entering into Afghanistan to ensure human rights, bring democracy, ensure sustainable development, stabilize the economy, cripple and paralyze Al-Qaeda and those who harbor them. After all those years of intervention, one can observe what has happened in Afghanistan, to its electoral process and the state of security, where the insurgent group has turned into 21 splinter and new terror groups. According to Hanif Atmar, former Afghan National Security Advisor, about 65% people in Afghanistan still live under the poverty line.
