Under its internship and fellowship program – exclusively for Afghan nationals, Afghan Studies Center welcomes its fifth Afghan intern, Zabih Ullah, who belongs to Archi district, Kunduz Province, Afghanistan. Zabih received his secondary education from Government Higher Secondary School, Munda Dir (Lower), Malakand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and did his bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Malakand University, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Onwards, he did masters in Sociology from Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan. Furthermore, he holds a diploma in ‘Information Technology’ from Board of Technical Education Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Previously, Zabih also served as the President of Afghan Students Association in Abdul Wali Khan University for a year. Presently, Zabih is enrolled in M.Phil Sociology at International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI). Under Afghan studies Center internship program, he has been given the opportunity to conduct research on any subject of his interest which is relevant to Pak-Afghan region. The study will be published on the ASC website at the conclusion of his internship period.
