The Washington based PEW Research Center, in its latest survey, has found that almost half the Americans believed that their government failed in achieving its goals in Afghanistan 17 years after invading the country. The survey, conducted between 18 and 24 September, suggests that 49 percent of the American respondents believed that the US had mostly failed to achieve its goals in the War on Terror in Afghanistan.
