We at the Center for Research and Security Studies (CRSS) pray for political peace and economic progress in Afghanistan.
We also welcome the foundation-laying of Afghanistan’s Embassy in the Diplomatic Enclave next to the Embassy of China.
Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan H.E. Nasir Ahmad Andisha attended both the national day reception at a local hotel as well as the ground-breaking for the new building. As of now the embassy operates out of Islamabad’s residential area. The media reported the reception attended by the chief guest and Federal Minister General Qadir Baloch,  National Security Advisor General Nasir Khan Janjua, prominent Pashtoon leaders such as Afrasiab Khattak and Mehmood Khan Achakzai. Both Qadir Baloch and Ambassador Omar Zakhilwal vowed to pursue peace and cooperation.
